Protect Your Dog’s Joints With Dasuquin With MSM
The Basset Hound breed is bred very low to the ground so they can easily transverse tough terrain and low-hanging branches in the quest for that rabbit.
Technically, Basset Hounds are dwarf dogs. This means that their legs develop differently than taller dogs.
Dash, for example, was so poorly bred in PA that his right front leg is basically now sideways. This is called Short Ulna Syndrome, and it basically means that one leg bone grew faster than the other, thereby twisting
his leg.
As Dash has aged, arthritis has settled into his joints.
The best thing I could do for Dash was to put him on Dasuquin with MSM per the vet’s advice. What a difference it has made!

What is Dasuquin?
Daququin was formulated with a lot of different vitamins and minerals to protect joints. It works by stimulating cartridge production while protecting and lubricating the dog’s joints. Dasaquin comes with and without MSN but I swear by the latter.
Nutramax Dasuquin comes in different strengths and formulations depending on the dog. I have all four of our current dogs on this supplement – two of which are under 25 pounds. For the little dogs, I bought the soft chews which seem to go down easily. For Dash and Woody (the bassets), the meat flavored tablets seem to do the trick.
Another thing to note about this miracle drug – dog’s can’t overdose on the stuff. Just ask my dog Killian who ate an ENTIRE BOTTLE of 84 tablets. A call to animal poison control verified he was fine….and he was.
