A Heating Pad For His Dog Bed Makes Dash Much Happier On Cold Days

After recognizing pain in Dash on cold mornings when he stood or laid down, we bought a heating pad for a dog bed.

As many of you may know, Dash was born deformed – his front right leg is twisted sideways. Now, generally, the deformity doesn’t bother him but, as he ages, I’ve noticed that he’s a bit slower getting up…or down.

John witnessed this one too many times, so he went and found a product that has changed Dash’s life – a heating pad for a dog bed!

I was skeptical at first but my opinion changed the moment I saw Dash discover the heated bed! He laid right down and wriggled his long body all over that warm surface – if that wasn’t a basset being delighted…well, I don’t know what was!

The heating pad slips right into the cover so it’s insulated against water, spills, etc. Simply put it in your dog’s favorite dog bed and plug it in. I’ll bet you’ll see a happy dog!

There are variations when it comes to selecting the best warming pad for your dog’s bed. There are pads with timers, automatic shut offs, etc, so make sure you get the best one for your dog.

No matter which one you select though, all of these beds are perfectly safe for use, continuous or otherwise. Ours has been plugged in for over 2 years now. I periodically inspect the cord but that’s all the maintenance these warming pads for your dog require.
