Halloween Costumes For Dogs Brings The Holiday Spirit To The Whole Family

I will admit that my dogs (there are now 4) are not particular fans of Halloween costumes but, if only for a quick picture, I make them. Yes, I do. I make them. BUT, after I get my picture, they get treated to a delicious pumpkin/peanut butter cake I make only for them.

I am quickly forgiven!

When considering which Halloween costumes to get for your dog, think about your dog’s personality and comfort. I’m not a fan of costumes that inhibit nature movement for the dog. If they have to wear it, it should be comfortable….

Also, before buying your dog a Halloween costume, make sure to measure your dog. Most costumes will say what size dog they will fit but I always like to check the measurements – after all, Dash is a very l-o-n-g basset so I have to find costumes for him that usually would fit a much larger (and taller…sigh) dog.
