The Dyson V11 Animal Cordless Vacuum Takes The Hair Right Off The Dog…
Well, sorta.
If someone told me that I’d be sitting her on a Saturday writing about a pet vacuum, I would have told them they were nuts.
But, well, here I am touting how wonderful a present the Dyson V11 Animal Vacuum has been!
I’m not a fan of housework but, with this new pet vac in hand, I’ve vacuumed twice in 2 days – a record for me. ‘Why?’ you might ask?
This Dyson vacuum not only picks up lint, dust, and dog hair like crazy, but, it’s just fun to use!
With three dogs, the house can get very hairy very quickly. And, since we have an old home with wood floors, hair can cause one to slip and fall (ouch!). But, not anymore.
Right out of the box, I knew this Dyson V11 was a keeper. With a sleek, thin design, I was able to quickly put it together and get going with vacuuming places that haven’t seen a vacuum in ages, like under our baseboard heaters (there was enough fur to make a medium sized dog under the living room heaters alone!).
This vacuum is super easy to put together – the components just snap in place. It comes with loads of components which are easily interchangeable. For instance, snap on the purple tube and add any component to the end – that means you can now easily get those cobwebs on high ceilings.
Unsnap the purple tube and add any component right to the vacuum and it transforms into a handheld, perfect for vacuuming shades or blinds.
The only negative I have found is that the dust receptacle is little – I had to empty it twice for our large living room. But, that’s a small price to pay for a house that now is devoid of dog hair.
Now, as to the dog? Now wonder Dyson is top rated as a pet vacuum! You can buy an accessory that vacuums the hair right off the actual dog! Note: I have not ventured that far but reviews are good for that component of the Dyson V11 Animal Cordless Vac also!
Dyson V11 Animal Vacuum And Components
I just bought a stand so that my vacuum and all the components can be tucked right behind a door, safe and out of the way. Also, with this vacuum, you can always leave it on the charger – that’s not a problem at all. Your vacuum will always be ready to.
Run time is around an hour or so, depending on use. I have yet to run the battery down after vacuuming 2800 square feet of home! I also bought an extra charger so I can have one on each floor.
