Pet Drinking Fountains For Dogs (And Cats) Deliver Fresh Water Even When You’re Not There
At least at my house, the dogs are picky when it comes to their water bowl. If the water sits overnight, all four dogs will notify me that it’s time to change the bowl by adding cool, fresh water. Each dog will lead me to the bowl which might be full of water yet they won’t drink it.
And, as to JB the cat, I am always trying to find ways to encourage him to drink more water in order to keep his kidneys healthy (cats frequently don’t drink much water which sometimes can lead to kidney failure).
I noticed that once I install the dog drinking fountain, JB was right there in line to slurp up his share.
Picky? You bet. Deserving of the best? You bet.
So, when I found drinking fountains for dogs, I knew that at least one of my daily chores was sure simplified. All I have to do now is make sure that their water fountain has water in it and is turned on. A filter purifies the water while the free flowing stream aerates and freshens the pet fountain water.
I particularly love our water fountain for pets on hot days. I’ll put it outside in the shade and rest assured that the pack is hydrated and comfortable.
In fact, I’ve frequently looked outside on summer days to find all four dogs waiting for their turn for a cool, fresh drink.
Hint: I’ve found that removing the dog food from the vicinity of the fountain keeps the water cleaner as debris doesn’t get into it.
